Since this is the first Easter with Jessie, Riley, and Leah, we would be remiss to let the weekend go by without making Easter eggs!  And since it was a beautiful Saturday morning, why not make them outside on the patio?

A few dozen hard boiled eggs and lots of cups filled with dye made for many entertained children … AND young adults!

And the eggs were not the only pretty thing at the table.

There were also a few handsome faces there!

Everyone was putting a lot of effort to make sure their eggs turned out just right!

And then you always have to have the post Easter egg meal … dumplings!

Today those eggs ended up being part of our Easter dinner!  They did a great job preparing a festive representation of new life for the Easter season!
